Vintage Sterling Berber Fibulae

Fibulae or garment pins were worn as ornamental metal fasteners that could be used to pin garments like cloaks or shawls together. They were created as a predecessor to the safety pin and were equally used as decorative jewelry as they were functional pieces. This fibulae has stunning silver work decorating its face along with a cabochon of coral to accent the piece. This pin is in good vintage condition with minimal wear to the piece.
