Nacius Joseph Haitian Men in Boat

This is a moving carved wooden sculpture portraying men struggling in a boat. This was carved by Haitian artist Nacius Joseph. Josephy was born in Petit Goave, Haiti, in 1939. He is Haiti's first nationally recognized wood sculptor.
